Will Jordan Love Play Today Against the Lions?

According to the latest reports, Jordan Love is cleared to play the game against the Detroit Lions. He is off the injury report and will start against the Detroit Lions today. He was dealing with a thumb injury earlier and had to get a surgery done to repair a ligament in the thumb. The injury occurred on August 9, preseason opener against the New York Jets.

How Did Jordan Love Perform in the Last Two Games Against the Lions?

While the Packers lost their last two matchups against the Detroit Lions in 2024, Jordan Love played decent. In their first matchup against the Lions in November 4, 2024, Love threw for 273 yards with no touchdown, and an interception. The final score ended in the Lions’ favor with 24-14.

In the second contest against the Lions in December 6, 2024, Jordan Love threw for 206 yards, had a passing touchdown, with no interception, but ultimately came short as the Lions once again walked with a victory.

The Packers with Micah Parson this time around, should be able to pick apart the Lions. While the Lions are great offensively, defensively they have heavily struggled and we may see the Packers finally able to stop their losing streak. The Lions have won three in a row at Lambeau Field, and it will be a tough task for the Packers and Jordan Love.
