Is Caitlin Clark Lucky for Pacers? Indiana’s Victory in the NBA Finals Game 3 Makes WNBA Star “Lucky Charm” for the Franchise

Caitlin Clark, who played a major role in the WNBA’s popularity, is now becoming a lucky charm for the Pacers. The WNBA star was sitting the courtside during the Game 3 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was the first time in 25 years when Indiana hosted the NBA Finals. Almost the entire Indiana Fever squad arrived to cheer for the Pacers.

Clark was taking a baseline seat and she was sporting a yellow T-shirt the iconic phrase “In 49 other states it’s just basketball. But this is Indiana,” alongside the Finals logo. The 2024 WNBA rookie of the year was joined by her teammates Aliyah Boston and Natasha Howard. Also courtside were Indiana basketball legends Oscar Robertson and Reggie Miller, along with Mark Jackson, Dale Davis, and other former Pacers.

Indiana Pacers Improves to 8-0 when Caitlin Clark is in Attendance

Pacers didn’t disappoint the former Indiana legends and Indiana Fever squads, who came to cheer them in the NBA Finals. Indiana edged out Oklahoma City 116-107 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals to take a crucial 2-1 lead in the series. Bennedict Mathurin scored 27 points off the bench, and Tyrese Haliburton added 22, including 11 assists and nine rebounds.

With this victory, the Pacers continued their unbeaten run when Caitlin Clark came to cheer Indiana’s men’s basketball team. Indiana Pacers are 8-0 when the Fever star is in attendance dating back to last postseason. Clark has been regular at Pacers playoff games whenever her schedule permits.

Indiana Pacers outscored the Thunder 40-28 to take a four-point lead at halftime and later, found themselves five points behind going into the fourth quarter. Once again, the Pacers mastered the fourth quarter and went on a 14-5 run to turn the 4-opoint deficit into a 5-point lead. Indiana outplayed the OKC Thunder 32-18 in the final period to clinch the first home-court matchup.

Indiana Fever will now take on the defending champions on the same court where Pacers beat the Thunder in Game 3. The Fever are currently 4-5 in the WNBA season. Caitlin Clark, on the other side, is on a recovery process after sustaining a quadriceps injury. The Fever guard could be seen in the Game 4 which will be played on Friday. On particular day, entire Fever squad will be in Indianapolis.
