Indiana Pacers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Match Preview

Pacers: Rediscovering their last season’s form

The Indiana Pacers will enter the affair after a hard-fought 5-point win against the Brooklyn Nets, thanks to a 26-point performance by Pascal Siakam. They are on a four-game winning streak, boasting an impressive 6-1 record in the last two games. Two of these wins came against +500 opponents, Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks. The team has one of the if not deepest guard rotations, and the position may not have tapped its full potential yet. Meanwhile, the frontline has brilliant two-way talents like Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner, giving the team the required balance to repeat last season’s heroics, i.e. making it to the East Finals.

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Tyrese Haliburton | SG: Andrew Nembhard | SF: Aaron Nesmith | PF: Pascal Siakam | C: Myles Turner

Key Injuries/Updates: Nothing significant to report thus far.

Timberwolves: Doing well but need to comb out some issues

The Minnesota Timberwolves will come into this game after a 41-point win against the New Orleans Pelicans behind a 20-point effort by Julius Randle. It broke a two-game losing streak but the team has done well with a 9-2 record in March thus far. They have scored 123.1 points per game(3rd) while giving up 109.1 PPG(5th), indicating their improved performance. One positive has been the adjustments made by Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to fit into the team. Thus, while the Wolves may be in danger of falling out of automatic playoff contention, they will be more than a handful in the postseason where their ace Anthony Edwards plays at his best.

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Mike Conley | SG: Anthony Edwards | SF/PF: Jaden McDaniels | PF: Julius Randle | C: Rudy Gobert

Key Injuries/Updates: Nothing significant to report thus far.

Indiana Pacers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Total Over/Under Prediction

During the last between the two teams, the total reached 266, with both teams going past 130. It has been the case with Indiana games in many instances but Minnesota has played such high-scorers only in recent periods. Thus, there is a high chance of another scoring galore here. The total can be in the 250+ range here.

Indiana Pacers Player Props Predictions- Projected Top Bets & Odds

Pascal Siakam to score over 24.5 points: The Pacers forward has put up 22.5 points per game in March, tallying 25 or more in five of the last six games. I believe he will go past 25 or so here.

Myles Turner to block over 2.5 shots: The Pacers center has rejected 2.1 shots per game in March. I believe he will have 3-4 blocks here.

Minnesota Timberwolves Player Props Predictions – Projected Top Bets & Odds

Anthony Edwards to score over 31.5 points: Ant-man has tallied 28.3 PPG in March, which is around his season’s average of 27.5 PPG. He notched 38 in the last battle, and I believe he can rack up 32+ again.

Julius Randle to score over 20.5 points: The Timberwolves PF has put up 18.2 PPG in March and scored 17 in the last meeting against Indiana. I believe he will cross the 21-point mark here.

Indiana Pacers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Match Prediction

The Timberwolves are looking in great offensive shape these days, while Indiana has built this reputation for the last couple of years. Defensively, the Wolves are a step ahead of the Pacers, but the latter has given some tremendous defensive performances too. Overall, I believe the Timberwolves will fancy a win away from home and can stitch a surprise here. I will take them to win here even if it is a risky gambit.

Safe Spread Pick: Timberwolves -1.5 for +120 at BetMGM
