Shubham Singh

On Tuesday, 06/24, the Indiana Fever (3-10) will host the Los Angeles Sparks (4-10) in a WNBA regular-season matchup. The Fever has refused to go up from the 11th position, whereas the Sparks are just one spot above in the 10th place.

Which team will stop their cycle of losing here? Go through the predictions related to player props, total, and spread here.

Where to Watch Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks

  • Time: 8:00 PM (ET)
  • Venue: Wintrust Arena (Indiana, Illinois)
  • Where to watch: This game can be viewed on the WNBA League Pass.

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Lineups, Sneak Peek

Fever: Inconsistent, but with a huge promise

The Fever will enter the game with a much-needed 94-86 win against the Seattle Storm, as Aliyah Boston scored a career-high 31 points. Her performance was impressive, despite Caitlin Clark shooting 3/13 and committing 8 turnovers.

Apart from Boston, Kelsey Mitchell had a prolific 26-point performance, and Lexie Hull had an impressive 15-point outing. The Fever shot a brilliant 50.7% from the field despite CC’s struggle. The win broke a two-game losing streak, and it was huge considering that Seattle had won 6 of their last seven games.

CC needs to be better if the Fever wants to get to a 60% win rate, but her teammates have surely stepped up lately, especially Boston. On the other hand, the team’s two-way balance has been disturbed as Wing DeWanna Bonner is done with them and seeking new pastures.

Can they land a viable two-way Forward in her exchange? It will be huge.

Los Angeles Sparks: Becoming worse somehow

The Sparks enter the game after yet another disappointing performance, losing to the Chicago Sky 86-97 as Azure Stevens scored 21. The offense did alright for the first time in four games, but the defense disappeared in the second half as the team allowed 55 points.

Dearica Hamby and Rickea Jackson both had decent shooting nights for a change, but Kelsey Plum had another off-night with a 6/17 effort. The bench was disappointing again, and LA looked off the mark with Odyssey Sims absent from the action.

They have now lost four in a row and have done much worse than expected. Will there be a Sparks revival? Or are they going to miss going on to the playoffs for the fifth straight year? The latter holds for now.

Sparks Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Kelsey Plum | SG: Shey Peddy | SF: Rickea Jackson | PF: Azura Stevens | C: Dearica Hamby

Key bench players: SG: Sarah Ashlee-Baker

Injuries/Updates: Julie Allemand, Rae Burrell, Cameron Brink, and Odyssey Sims are likely to be OUT.

Fever Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Caitlin Clark | SG: Lexie Hull | SG: Kelsey Mitchell | PF: Natasha Howard | C: Aiyah Boston

Key bench players: PF: Damiris Dantas, SG/SF: Sophie Cunningham, SG/SF: Sydney Colson

Injuries/Updates: DeWanna Bonner is likely to be TRADED soon.

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Total Over/Under Prediction- WNBA Best Bets

The Fever has regularly scored 85+ points while the Sparks have struggled to reach that mark. However, Indiana’s defense can be leaky too, like LA. Thus, there is a high chance that both teams cross the 85-mark here too.

It will make for a high-scoring game, so betting for something in the 170s isn’t a bad option.

Total: Over 165.5 for -110 at BetMGM

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Player Props Predictions- WNBA Betting Picks

Caitlin Clark O 9.5 assists: Clark has been off her shooting game, but her playmaking chops have been intact. She has dished 9-10 assists in the last three games, and I believe she will deliver 10 helpers here too.

Azura Stevens O 8.5 rebounds: The Sparks Center is having a career with 13.9 PPG and 8.7 rebounds a game. I expect her to pull down at least 9 boards here.

Aliyah Boston O 17.5 points: The Fever Center is clicking on all cylinders. She has averaged 24.6 PPG in the last three games, and I believe she will score at least 18 here.

Main pick: Rebounds: Caitlin Clark Over 9.5 assists at BetMGM

Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Spread Prediction

The Fever will enter as the favorites. Home-court advantage, check. A much better core, check. On the other hand, the Sparks are desperate for a crumb of victory and will surely up the ante against a squad that invites the most attention.

Lately, a lot of odds have been thrown out the window, and it is tough to judge a winner. But I will opt for the Fever to close the book on Sparks in this game by at least 7 points.
