How to watch New Jersey Devils vs. Buffalo Sabres on Friday Night Hockey in 2024 NHL Global Series

The National Hockey League (NHL) 2024-25 regular-season will commence in Europe on Friday, Oct. 4, when the Buffalo Sabres take on the New Jersey Devils in the 2024 NHL Global Series at O2 Arena in Prague, Czechia.

The New Jersey Devils had a lackluster 2023-24 season, finishing seventh in the Metropolitan Division and not qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. With the addition of new stars, they’ll be looking for a turnaround. However, the team is battling with a few injuries ahead of their opening game.

The Devils will be without summer free-agent signing Brett Pesce, who is recovering from a fractured fibula. Sophomore defender Luke Hughes is also unavailable due to a shoulder injury he suffered during training in September.

Meanwhile, Sabre also had an underwhelming season, finishing sixth place in Atlantic Division, and missing out on the Stanley Cup Playoffs spot. The Buffalos will be led by a new captain this season. 24-year-old Rasmus Dahlin replaced now-retired Kyle Okposo as captain.

As we gear up for the exciting opening clash, here are all the streaming details you need to catch every moment of the action.
