After a short stint on the Lakers bench for the Detroit Pistons and Warriors’ games, Bronny James returned to G League for the South Bay Lakers’ away game against Cleveland Charge on Friday.
The 20-year-old was called up from the G League to join the Lakers for Monday’s game against the Pistons. However, he didn’t play. Bronny was also part of the Lakers’ roster for the Christmas game against the Warriors but watched the game from the sidelines as his dad LeBron James played his NBA-record 19th Christmas game.

The Lakers rookie struggled in South Bay’s previous game, managing just 6 points in South Bay’s win over Osceola Magic last Saturday.
However, Friday was different.
The 20-year-old finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds and a team-high six assists in South Bay Lakers’ loss to Cleveland Charge.
Bronny James has been making a mark in the G League, averaging 13.6 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals in eight games for the South Bay Lakers.
