How many points did Bronny James score tonight against Clippers? Full Stats

Swati Bhatia

Bronny made a return to the court in Lakers' blowout loss to Clippers.

Bronny James made his long-awaited return to the court on Sunday, making his first appearance on the court for the first time since January 7. The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a blowout 116-103 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, and with the game out of reach in the final minutes, Bronny James was given a brief two-minute stint late in the fourth quarter.

Hours before the game, Lakers Nation host Trevor Lane reported that the Lakers had assigned Bronny James and forward Jarred Vanderbilt to the South Bay Lakers. However, just before the game tipped off, the Lakers recalled both players back to the main roster.

Bronny, who last played in Lakers’ loss to Dallas Mavericks, was on the sidelines for two games due to illness. He was off the injury report for LA’s game against Brooklyn Nets on Friday but but did not play.

Meanwhile, his return on Sunday didn’t result in any statistics as he didn’t record any points, assists, or rebounds in the two minutes he played during team’s loss.

LeBron James had 25 points and 11 assists for the Lakers, while Rui Hachimura chipped in with 19 points. Anthony Davis contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds in his return after missing a game with injury.

Lakers are now at 22-18 this season and will return to Crypto.com Arena to host Washington Wizards on Tuesday, January 21.
