Bronny James made a successful debut for the South Bay Lakers in the G League on Saturday as he helped the Lakers to a comfortable 110-96 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars.

After being sent to the G League, Bronny, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, started for South Bay. Bronny scored his first basket in his G League career on the very first possession.

The 20-year-old ended the first half with 4 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds. He then contributed 2 points, 1 rebound, and one assist in the next two quarters to end the night.

It was a memorable night for Bronny, and as expected, his family was there to support him for his G League debut with South Bay. His father, LeBron James, was joined by his wife, Savannah, and their 10-year-old daughter, Zuri.

Also in attendance was Lakers superstar Anthony Davis, who is coming off a dominant 31-point, nine-rebound performance in LA’s 116-106 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

South Bay Lakers will next travel to Santa Cruz to face Santa Cruz Warriors on Nov 14.
