Here is the Indiana Pacers' NBA Finals record.
The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks of the Eastern Conference Finals and paved their way through to the NBA Finals. However, they failed to get the championship after a hard-fought 4-3 loss to the Thunder in the 2025 NBA finals. This marks a significant achievement for the Pacers, who finished their regular season in fourth spot and pulled off multiple upsets to reach the summit clash. It was their second overall and first NBA Finals appearance in 25 years for the Pacers.
Pascal Siakam emerged as the Eastern Conference Finals MVP, with his steady offensive output averaging 24.8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. In the NBA Finals, the Pacers were facing the OKC Thunder, who defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals. Indiana took the series to Game 7, first Game 7 since 2016 but couldn’t finish the line.

The Indiana Pacers have made two NBA Finals appearances, including their latest trip to the summit series. The first time the Pacers booked an NBA Finals appearance was in the 1999-2000 season. They had defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 3-2 in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, before taking down the Philadelphia 76ers 4-2 in the Conference Semifinals. In the Eastern Conference Finals, they clashed against the New York Knicks and defeated them 4-2. In the NBA Finals, they were up against the Los Angeles Lakers, but suffered a 2-4 defeat.
The Indiana Pacers have made it to only two NBA Finals in their franchise history. Their first appearance in the NBA Finals came in 2000, where they suffered a 2-4 defeat to the 17-time champions, LA Lakers. After a gap of 25 years, they reached the final again and lost to the Thunder 3-4. It means that the Pacers have recorded five victories and suffered eight losses in the summit series.
