The iconic Hopman Cup 2025 will make its eagerly awaited return to the tennis circuit between 16-20 July, 2025. An entertaining mixed team event featuring some of the world’s top male and female players, the Hopman Cup took a hiatus in 2024. In April 2025 however, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced that the competition will be returning this year – and will be hosted by Italy for the very first time.

Traditionally played on hard courts, the 33rd edition of the event will also be played on the indoor hard courts at the Fiera del Levante in Bari, Italy. The format involves two singles matches, followed by a mixed doubles clash – the team that wins two out of three matches will ensure victory for their country in that particular tie.

The 2025 Hopman Cup will feature six countries, with two players representing each team. With Grand Slam champions, runners-up as well as Olympic medalists in the mix, it is set to be an action packed week.

Hopman Cup 2025 – Important Dates & Timings

The 2025 Hopman Cup will begin on Wednesday, 16th July with the home team Italy opening proceedings against Donna Vekic’s Croatia. The match will begin at 5:30 PM local time with the women’s singles. Following this, Centre Court action will begin every day at 5:30 PM local time and Court-1 matches will start at 5:00 PM local time.

The final will be played on Sunday, 20th July at 5:30 PM local time. The women’s singles will kick-start the contest, followed by the men’s singles and then a deciding mixed doubles if required (All Timings Subject to Change).
