Dexter Lawrence didn't mince his words!
The stage was set for a classic NFC East battle on Thanksgiving Day, as the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants squared off at AT&T Stadium.
The second NFL Thanksgiving matchup saw the Giants lead 7-3 in the first quarter. But the highlight of the early action wasn’t just on the scoreboard; it came courtesy of Dexter Lawrence’s funny antics, aimed at Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush.
With the Cowboys driving late in the first quarter, Rush attempted to draw the Giants’ defense offside with a hard count. However, the Giants’ Pro Bowl defensive tackle was unmoved. Lawrence turned the tables and loudly taunted Rush, yelling, “Good try. Good f**king try.”
Dallas had its chances, with running back Rico Dowdle’s 35-yard burst. However, Rush couldn’t connect with CeeDee Lamb on a critical 3rd-and-6 from the Giants’ 15-yard line. But Brandon Aubrey’s second field goal, from 33 yards out, cut the Giants’ lead to 7-6.

The action didn’t stop there. After a massive defensive play by DeMarvion Overshown, who tipped a Drew Lock pass and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown, the Cowboys surged ahead, taking a 13-7 lead early into the second quarter.
