Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4 Lineups, Sneak Peek

The Warriors are struggling without Curry

The Dubs once again felt the void left by the absence of Stephen Curry. But they still fought hard on the defensive end throughout the game. The Warriors limited the Timberwolves to just 40 points in the first half and even took a two-point lead.

They extended the lead to four by the end of the third quarter, but allowed the Wolves’ offense to settle. Then it was Anthony Edwards’ time. He nailed a triple around the halfway mark of the final quarter to give his team a two-point lead.

The Timberwolves never looked back after the lead as another three by Edwards extended their lead to 7 with around 80 seconds left in the game. Ant-Man scored 13 of his 36 points in the final quarter to seal the deal.

As for the Warriors, Jimmy Butler III had a vintage performance with a 33-point outburst. Jonathan Kuminga had an unprecedented 30-point masterpiece. Buddy Hield nailed 4 triples en route to 14 points.

But Brandin Podziemski and Draymond Green had another poor game. Podz shot 1/10 while Green was 1/4 and committed 5 turnovers. Gary Payton II had a solid impact in the lineup with Kuminga, but he shot just 1/4.

The Warriors made 10 triples after making 9 in Game 2. Meanwhile, Minnesota made 13 in Game and 16 in Game 2. Curry could have extended Warriors’ triples to at least 13, and that is the difference in the series.

Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves Total Over/Under Prediction- NBA Betting Picks

The bookmakers have been on point regarding the low-scoring nature of the series. During Game 3, they projected an over/under around 200-201 points, and guess what, the match produced 199. Sometimes, their ability to adjudge certain projections is indeed remarkable.

Game 2 was the highest-scoring with 210, not far from their estimation. Meanwhile, Game 1 drifted a bit far away from the projections with just 187. The Dubs are yet to reach the 100-point mark again, but I see them doing it here.

The bookmakers have shifted the scoring to the 199-200 mark again. I chose “Under” in the last game, but will go for “Over” here.

Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves Player Props Predictions- NBA Best Bets

Jimmy Butler III to score over 26.5 points: Butler put up  33 points in Game 3 and has found his stroke. It was first time he went “over” the stipulated projections in the series. I see him doing it twice in a row.

Rudy Gobert to block over 2.5 shots: The Timberwolves center rejected 4 shots in Game 3 and had 4 blocks in Game 1. He had no blocks in Game 1. He has gone “over” two times and I see him do it again.

Anthony Edwards to make over 3.5 3-pointers: ANT made under three triples in the first two games but exploded for 5 in Game 3. I see him continuing the rhythm here.

Main pick: Jimmy Butler O 26.5 points for -125 at BetMGM

Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4 Prediction- Betting Lines

The Timberwolves have found a huge opening against the Warriors as the latter is looking helpless from long range. The three-point advantage belongs to them, and it usually is the biggest deciding factor in the league.

However, don’t underestimate Dubs’ fighting spirit. The Chase Center will be rocking even louder in this crucial game, and I believe the Warriors will be ready for the challenge here. I see another close game with the Warriors winning this.

Last time, I picked them to cover the spread of +5.5 and they covered it with a whisker. This time, I am going for a slightly more risky pick.

Betting Lines:

Spread: Timberwolves: -5.5: -105. Warriors: +5.5: -115

Total: 199.5. 0:-105. U: -115

Player Props: Points: Julius Randle: 19.5. O: -105. U: -115
