What are the latest injury concerns for Fever and Valkyries ?
The Golden State Valkyries host Indiana Fever in a back-to-back clash on Sunday, August 31. Valkyries are in their winning momentum right now, and are coming on the back of a blowout win over the Washington Mystics, kicking them out of the playoffs race. Golden State is 20-18 following the victory, sitting on the edge of securing a postseason berth.
Similarly, the Indiana Fever heads into the Sunday-night fixture on a two-game winning streak. Despite the regular season nearing its end, the Fever is finding it difficult to find pace. It has only managed to register four wins in its last ten games. However, despite it, the Fever sits in the sixth spot with a 21-18 record.
It is going to be a crucial game considering the upcoming playoffs. In case the Valkyries manage to extend their winning streak to three games and take the Fever down, they would move up to the sixth spot while the losers would slip down to the eighth spot, putting their playoff qualification in jeopardy.
Let’s look at the injury report and expected starting lineups for the Valkyries and the Fever ahead of their Sunday-night encounter.
