Giannis Antetokounmpo might be on the move from the Milwaukee Bucks
There have been a lot of rumors surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo potentially leaving the Milwaukee Bucks at the end of the season. The Bucks have had a mediocre start to the season and if it continues to deteriorate they might consider trading Antetokounmpo.
Despite Damian Lillard’s solid production, averaging 26.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.7 assists, the Bucks are lacking scoring depth. Their next-highest scorer, Bobby Portis, is putting up 11.0 points off the bench, which exposes the team’s lack of offensive options.
Interestingly a number of teams are looking to be interested in sweeping the services of the Greek. One of them happens to be the New York Knicks. However, according to longtime NBA insider Marc Stein, the trade is unlikely.
The New York Knicks were viewed as a credible suitor for the Greek Freak. At least they were before acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns, along with the Warriors, Nets and the Heat.
The obstacle now for the Knicks is they already unloaded the most valuable assets, minus Jalen Brunson, to acquire Towns, OG Anunoby and, Mikal Bridges. As a result, the Knicks’ chances of dealing for the Bucks star as “very unlikely.”
The Milwaukee Bucks are 2-6 so far in the current season. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo performing well, the team has failed to secure results this season.

As far as the individual stats for Antetokounmpo go, he is averaging 31 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. That said, it is safe to say that the problem lies beyond the Greek superstar at the moment. It remains to be seen if they can turn their season around or not in the coming games.
