Formula 1 Driver George Russell spotted in Paris today at the French Open

The final of Roland Garros is underway at Court Phillipe-Chatrier in Paris, France. Carlos Alcaraz of Spain will be facing off against Janik Sinner of Italy in the 2025 French Open Final. The match attracts numerous visitors from around the world including famous personalities.

F1 drivers are known to make regular appearances in tennis games throughout the year. Nico Hulkenberg, Oliver Bearman, Charles Leclerc are some of the F1 pilots spotted during the matches in 2025. Recently, Oliver Bearman found himself in a casual conversation with Matteo Berrettini after his match during the 2025 Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.

Fans of Formula 1 and Tennis found themselves spotting yet another F1 driver in today’s match.

George Russell Visits Paris for the 2025 French Open

A few hours ago George Russell was seen putting up a story on his Instagram describing Paris as “city of love and tennis”. Russell is an avid fan of Tennis. He is known for making appearances in many tournaments. Famously, George Russell is a regular visitor of the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters in his home town.

A couple of years ago, Russell also met Novac Djokovic in the gym. The Tennis star helped him with tips about longevity. Russell openly reveals his love for the sport during interviews.

“I love tennis. It’s probably my favourite sport to watch. I don’t play tennis but huge amount of respect for the players.”

George Russell is the lead driver for Mercedes in 2025. He is helping the team gain their standing in the championship with regular podiums and points finishes. Russell has claimed four podiums as of the Spanish GP in the 2025 season.

The Mercedes ace is in the spotlight due to his confrontation with Max Verstappen during the 2025 Spanish GP. Russell claimed P4 after his rival was demoted due to a 10s time penalty.
