Can Cobolli fend off the challenge from Wu to enter the SFs?
No. 5 seed Flavio Cobolli is the highest ranked player remaining in the draw, and will feel the pressure of lifting the 2026 ATP Acapulco Open trophy above his shoulders this week. The Italian will take on Chinese breakout star Yibing Wu in the quarterfinals of the Abierto Mexicano Telcel on Thursday. This is set to be the first meeting between these two players on tour. The winner of this match will face either Miomir Kecmanovic or Terence Atmane in the final four. Can Cobolli continue his impressive tournament?
