While the vikings took an early lead 10-0, David Montgomery got injured on a third-down run in the first quarter.
Two trainers were helping him getting off the field with some difficulties to walk.
The Lions have listed him initially questionnable for return.
While on the sideline, Montgomery has been replaced by Jahmyr Gibbs in the lion’s backfield offense.
Later on the 2nd quarter, David Montgomery was back on the field, just after seeing Jahmyr Gibbs scoring a touchdown on the ground to cut the deficit

Montgomery had tallied 351 rushing yards and 94 receiving yards with six touchdowns this season. He has been the primary force of that running offense composed of a dynamic duo with him and Gibbs.
