The Dallas Mavericks will enter the match-up after an 8-point loss against the Los Angeles Lakers despite a 35-point outing by Kyrie Irving. It was their second straight loss which has soured the taste of a three-game winning streak. The team is desperately Anthony Davis who has played just one game in the Mavs jersey thus far. Three of their last four losses have been in single digits as they have fought throughout the game, but they have lacked a strong closer in the absence of AD.
