The Philadelphia 76ers snapped their nine-match streak as they took down the Golden State Warriors in an exciting clash. The game saw Quentin Grimes having a career-night with 44 points, six rebounds and one assist.

Jaren Jackson Jr. came up with 42 points, four rebounds and two assists in Grizzlies’ loss against the Spurs. In another game, the Pistons recorded their eighth win in the last nine games as they got better of the Nets.

There was a lot that took place in the NBA on Saturday. Let’s have a look at what made it to the headlines on March 1.

Wizards 113-100 Hornets

The Wizards bounced back from their previous defeat and took down the Hornets 113-100. Bilal Coulibaly and Khris Middleton finished with 17 points apiece. Richaun Holmes finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Corey Kispert finished with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists. Marcus Smart had 12 points, two rebounds and one assist.

On the flip side, Mark Williams 24 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. LaMelo Ball, on the other hand, has 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Miles Bridges had 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to contribute for the Hornets.

Pistons 115-94 Nets

The Detroit Pistons recorded their eighth win in the last nine games as they took down the Nets 115-94. Jalen Duren and Malik Beasley had 18 points apiece for the winners. Cade Cunningham scored 15 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Ausar Thompson had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Tyrese Martin had 23 points along with one rebound and one assist. Cameron Johnson had 13 points and four rebounds to add for the Nets. On the other hand, Jalen Wilson scored 14 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Spurs 130-128 Grizzlies

The San Antonio Spurs snapped their four-match losing streak by recording a close 130-128 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Stephon Castle had 24 points, three rebounds and seven assists. De’Aaron Fox and Devin Vassell finished with 20 points each. Jeremy Sochan chipped in 18 points, 11 rebounds and three assists for the side.

For the Grizzlies, Jaren Jackson Jr. had a stellar 42 points, four rebounds and two assists. Jaylen Wells contributed 18 points with two rebounds and three assists. Zach Edey had 17 points and nine rebounds.

Kings 113-103 Rockets

The Sacramento Kings recorded a big 113-103 win over the fifth-seeded Western Conference counterparts Houston Rockets. DeMar DeRozan added 21 points, two rebounds and six assists. Zach LaVine had 20 points, six rebounds and four assists. Malik Monk wrapped up the night with 16 points, five rebounds and four rebounds, while Jonas Valanciunas called it a night with 15 points, game-high 14 rebounds and one assist.

Alperen Sengun had 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the rockets. Jalen Green had 24 points, two rebounds and two assists, while Tari Eason followed him with 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.

Mavericks 132-117 Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks took down star-studded Mavericks 132-117 in an exciting game. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the side with 29 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while Damian Lillard closely followed him on the charts with 28 points, six rebounds and six assists. Gary Trent Jr. contributed 20 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks with 31 points, five rebounds and three assists. Moses Brown added 18 points while Klay Thompson and Jaden Hardy wrapped up with 16 points. The Bucks recorded their second straight win, while the Mavericks lost their fourth game in the last nine matchups.

76ers 126-119 Warriors

Quentin Grimes led the 76ers with 44 points, six rebounds and one assist to end their nine-game losing streak. The 76ers, who will now be without their star player Joel Embiid for the rest of the season, took down the red-headed Golden State Warriors 126-119. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 20 points, two rebounds and one assist. Guerschon Yabusele had six rebounds and five assists. Paul George finished the night with 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Stephen Curry topped the charts for the Warriors with 29 points, five rebounds and 13 points. Quinten Post had 16 points, nine rebounds and one assist. Gary Payton II had 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Gui Santos had 14 points, four rebounds and two rebounds.
