There are many stars that are on the injury list tonight that may, most likely, not play. This injury report lists all the players who will be available for tonight’s games and more. So let’s get right into it.
It’s been a disastrous season for the 76ers and that continues to be the story. After acquiring Paul George in the offseason, we all thought that this season could finally be the year that Joel Embiid moves past the second round, and possibly win a chip. Instead, the 76ers are sitting at 13th in the East and are not even in a position to complete in the play-in. Kelly Oubre of the 76ers once said that he’s finally playing for a winning team after getting traded to the 76ers from the Hornets. Well that has aged poorly.
The Wizards are still at the bottom of the eastern conference standings, like they are pretty much every single season. Rookie Alex Sarr is showing a lot of promise this season and the Wizards did beat the Nuggets twice, but that’s pretty much all they have going on for them. The Nation’s Capital needs something to change for them and hopefully Alex Sarr will be that guy for the years to come.

There is still no answers yet for Jalen Brunson’s return but the Knicks are doing everything they can to stay afloat even if it means that Coach Thibs runs his starters to the ground by making them play nearly every minute of the game. The Knicks are 5-5 in their last 10 games and having been struggling since they don’t have Brunson’s offense to rely on. They currently sit at the third seed in the East and are trying not to lose their place in the standings.
The Clippers have been on a roll ever since the Klaw returned back from his injury. The Clips are 8-2 in their last 10 games and looking at the way the Lakers and the Warriors without Steph Curry are currently playing, the Clips have a shot to even capture the fifth seed and avoid the play-in tournament all together.

The Lakers have lost 7 of their last 10 games and have been on a slump recently. After looking like a serious threat to possibly challenge the OKC Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, now they look like an average team at best. Their defense has taken a hit and the lack of quality big-men in their lineup is now starting to show. Coach Redick has done a phenomenal job and coached his behind off this season, but there’s only so much he can do. It’s up to the players to show that they can step it up, and playing against the Pacers tonight is a great opportunity to do just that.
The Indiana Pacers have been on fire lately and we’re starting to see flashes of Tyrese Haliburton’s greatness, like he displayed last season. They have won 7 of their last 10 games and have a great chance to acquire the third seed if they continue to win. Looking at the way the Lakers are currently playing, we would say that the Pacers should win the matchup tonight.

The Raptors acquired Brandon Ingram from the Pelicans a month ago and while he has still not played a game yet for his new team, they are going in the right direction lead by coach Darko Rajaković, who’s been extremely passionate and competitive. While the Raptors will most likely not play even in the play-in tournament this season, they have some pieces in place and have the off-season to figure things out going forward. We are certainly excited to see what Ingram and Scottie Barnes duo will look like next season.
The Nets are a few games behind the Raptors and are currently sitting at the 12th spot in the East. Cam Johnson is clearly having the best season of his career and has still kept the Nets somewhat decent, compared to some of the other teams that are below them. The Nets are still in the rebuilding phase and have not yet recovered from the KD/Kyrie era. They have some great young pieces and coach Jordi Fernández was a great hire for the team. Despite the team’s losing record, he’s still instilling some great coaching to the group.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been struggling all season long. Their superstar duo in Dame and Giannis have put up great numbers like they always do, and the recent addition of Kyle Kuzma, and Kevin Porter Jr. has been a welcome sight but the inconsistency has remained regardless. If the Bucks lose again this year in the playoffs, Antetokounmpo could leave the Bucks and go play elsewhere. Dame recently went down with a calf injury and things could not get much worse for them. Not to mention the Bobby Portis suspension which is still ongoing.
The Nuggets are another team who’ve had quite a roller coaster of a season. Westbrook has revived his career playing in Denver and we could not be more happy for the former MVP. However, as a whole, the Nuggets lack bench production, are quite bad defensively, and even though Jamaal Murray is playing extremely well in the last couple of games, the question to be asked is; can he remain consistent? If yes, the Nuggets are most likely going to the Western Conference Finals at the least. If not, then the Nuggets are possibly headed for a second round exit.

The Boston Celtics have been cruising all along the season and have been winning games, positioning themselves firmly at the second seed in the East. The only team that may give the Celtics a challenge in the playoffs could be the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers. Outside of that, there is nobody in the East that can really stop Boston from advancing to the NBA Finals again. Tatum recently suffered a nasty ankle sprain while playing the Kings, after Sabonis landed right in Tatum’s landing spot. He is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game against the Suns and we may not see him in his uniform.
The Suns have won four straight and it’s looking like they’ve found something at the very end of the season. If not for the 76ers, the Suns would have been the most disappointing team this season, as even after acquiring multiple pieces in the offseason and bringing in Coach Bud and firing Frank Vogel, the Suns still remained to be a disappointment. Just to remind everybody, the Suns have Kevin Durant and Devin Booker (healthy), but their team is still sitting in the 10th seed. That is just something nobody can believe.
