Lucia Bronzetti will be aiming to knock out a third consecutive seed at the tournament on Thursday. Beating Daria Kasatkina and Jelena Ostapenko in three sets each, the World No. 61 is playing the best tennis of her campaign. After finishing as the runner-up at the Winners Open, Bronzetti’s season suffered a downhill graph until post-Wimbledon. The top seed in Bastad made the quarterfinals, before losing in Round-2 at the National Bank Open. A win on Thursday will bring her winning percentage this year to around the 50% mark.
