However, the Orlando Magic won the next two games in a dominating way, 121-83 and 112-89 to set up an nerve racking series for both the fanbases. Game 5 went down to the wire and the Cavs emerged victorious by 104-103. The Magic fought back and won game 6 by 103-96. In Game 7, the Cavs made a 18-point comeback to win the series. A dominating second half-display, 63-41.
In second-round, the Cavs faced the number seeded, Boston Celtics. Both teams won one game each in the first two. However, the Celtics were on a different level, winning the next three consecutive games against the Cavs, making it a 4-1 series loss for the Cavaliers.
