Cleveland Browns Schedule for 2026-27 NFL Season – Browns Strength of Schedule Analysis, Odds for Super Bowl 61, Conference Winner Odds, and Division Winner Odds

Devavrat Kulkarni

The Browns will have the easiest schedule in the league in the 2026-27 season!

The 2025-26 NFL offseason for the Cleveland Browns was an interesting one following the draft. Despite needing a quality quarterback to lead the franchise, the Browns opted to pass up on Shedeur Sanders for not one but five rounds of the draft.

And as Sanders continued to slip and slide in the draft, the Browns finally selected him in round 5, two rounds after they selected Dillon Gabriel for the same position. What followed was chaos as Cleveland went through veteran QB Joe Flacco, whom they traded to inter-division rivals, the Bengals, and Gabriel, who was extremely inconsistent, before giving Sanders a shot.

While the Browns’ defense was the only highlight of the season, led by sack king Myles Garrett, who broke the NFL record with 23 sacks in the regular season, the rest of the team was just abysmal. At the end of the season, the Browns parted ways with head coach Kevin Stefanski and will look for a new direction in the upcoming 2026-27 NFL season.

Cleveland Browns Schedule for 2026-27 NFL Season

The Cleveland Browns belong to the AFC North division, which, until now, was regarded as one of the toughest divisions in the league. That perspective may change this season with the Steelers and Ravens both hiring new head coaches and the Bengals and Browns looking to get back to winning ways.

This time around, the AFC teams will be hosting 8 games while playing 9 games on the road as per the NFL’s rotation policy. And the Browns’ 17-game regular season slate will comprise 6 divisional games, along with 4 games against the AFC South, and 4 games against the NFC South.

Additionally, the remaining three games will comprise 2 games against the last placed teams from the AFC East, AFC West, and the NFC East since the Browns finished last in their division last season.

Browns Strength of Schedule Analysis and Prediction for 2026-27 NFL Season

Strength of Schedule Analysis

The strength of schedule for the Cleveland Browns will be the easiest in the league, with sources indicating it as (.429). In terms of the strength of schedule, the Browns have the most favorable schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 NFL season.

Taking a deeper dive into the Browns’ schedule for the upcoming season, they will face the Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers twice. Neither team controlled the AFC North last season, and with coaching changes, this division could be up for grabs.

Next up, the 4 inter-conference games will be against the Texans, Colts, Jaguars, and Titans. The Texans and the Jaguars were both playoff teams from the previous season, while the Colts started off red hot, only to end with a 7-game losing streak after starting 8-2. The Titans, though, are a long way away from being a considerable threat.

Then, the Browns’ 4 intra-conference games will see them take on the Panthers, Falcons, Saints, and Bucs. The division winner from the AFC South was the Panthers with an 8-9 record, so all these teams struggled quite a bit.

And to cap it off, the remaining three games will be against the Raiders, Jets, and Giants. The Raiders and the Jets are both struggling franchises that have a ton of work to do in order to get back to winning ways.

Although the Giants finished last in the AFC East with a 4-13 record, they could cause problems, especially if they remain healthy. Jaxson Dart had a decent rookie season, while Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo will return from injury. Moreover, the Giants will be coached by former Super Bowl-winning head coach John Harbaugh.

Prediction

The biggest problem for the Cleveland Browns last season was their offense. The quarterback room never got settled, and the lack of points on the board caused them to lose plenty of matches despite the defense playing well.

Scoring just about 16.4 points per game, the Browns’ offense finished 31st in the league. They went through three quarterbacks, with not even one of them throwing for 1,500 yards. The top receiver was Harold Fannin Jr., who caught 72 passes for 731 yards, while the top rusher was Quinshon Judkins, who finished with just 827 yards. The Browns’ offense needs a lot of work.

On the other hand, the defense was mid-tier, allowing 22.3 points per game. Even though the defense wasn’t elite, they held some quality teams to low scores. Defensive end Myles Garrett wore his heart on his sleeve, but Cleveland will still need some help on that side of the ball as well.

Our Prediction: Browns to miss the playoffs in the 2026-27 NFL season.

Cleveland Browns Super Bowl LXI Odds for 2026-27 Season

According to the latest Super Bowl odds on FanDuel, the Cleveland Browns are (+12500) to win Super Bowl 61 next season. According to these odds by FanDuel, the Browns are sitting at the 23rd position in the league.

Dreams of a Super Bowl at this time in the franchise are next to impossible. The Browns need to work out plenty of things before they can become a championship-contending team. Forget the Super Bowl, at present, Cleveland isn’t even in the best team in the division contest.

Cleveland Browns Conference Winner Odds for 2026-27 Season

As for the odds to win the Conference, the Browns are at (+5000), as per FanDuel. This currently puts the Browns in the bottom 5 in the AFC, with only the Titans, Raiders, Dolphins, and the Jets below them.

As mentioned previously, the Browns’ roster has many holes that need to be filled in order to be a threat in the conference. Teams like the Ravens, Bills, and Chiefs have elite quarterbacks and balanced rosters; the Chargers, Texans, and Jaguars have decent play on both sides of the ball and will get back injured players.

Others like the Bengals, Broncos, and Colts are also competing in the AFC, which makes things quite difficult for the Browns.

Cleveland Browns Division Winner Odds for 2026-27 Season

The Browns’ odds to win the NFC West are set at (+1200), as per DraftKings. Those odds show that the Browns are expected to finish last in the AFC North as the Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers all have higher odds.

With a new head coach leading the charge, the Browns need to rebuild this team into a dynamic roster. The upcoming draft is a great place to start since Cleveland has 10 picks in the draft, including two in the first round.

A strong rebuild is necessary to breathe some life into this Browns team. Additionally, they will also need to make a decision on their quarterback for the future. Whether they continue with Shedeur Sanders or explore their options in the draft will be something to keep an eye on.
