Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx WNBA Prediction- Spread & Other Bets- 07/14/2025

Shubham Singh

On Monday, July 14, the Chicago Sky (7-13) will host the Minnesota Lynx (18-4) in a WNBA regular-season matchup. The Sky have been stuck at the tenth position while the Lynx have been at the top for a while now.

This will be a rematch after an incredible game on Saturday. Ariel Atkins scored 27 points to lead the Sky to a 87-81 win against the 2024 finalists. Napheesa Collier’s 26 points weren’t enough.

Can the ever-improving Angel Reese help the Sky take the season series lead here? Go through the predictions related to player props, total, and spread here.

Where to Watch Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx

  • Time: 8:00 PM (ET)
  • Venue: Wintrust Arena (Chicago, Illinois)
  • Where to watch: This game can be viewed on the WNBA League Pass.

Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx Total Over/Under Prediction- WNBA Best Bets

The Sky has improved dramatically on both ends. Earlier, they were conceding 90+ and scoring below 80. But Chicago has scored in the 87-92 range in three of the last five games. On the other hand, Lynx’s scoring has been more inconsistent these days.

They have usually scored in the early 80s. Their defense has been stellar as they usually hold teams below 80, which has changed a bit lately. The last two games between these two have produced 155 and 168. I expect this game to go “under” the mark, expecting a defensive battle.

Total: Under 161.5 for -110 at BetMGM

Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx Player Props Predictions- WNBA Betting Picks

Angel Reese O 15.5 Points: Reese has been in terrific form lately. She averaged 13.6 for the season, but has put up almost 19 PPG in the last seven games. She is tallying 17.5 PPG in two games against the Lynx and does well against Napheesa Collier. I expect her to score over 16 again.

Napheesa Collier O 22.5 points: Collier has been the only consistent offensive player for the Lynx alongside Courtney Williams. She is averaging 23.5 PPG. It won’t be surprising if she follows a 26-point effort with another 25+ night.

Kamilla Cardoso O 6.5 Rebounds: Cardoso has averaged 6.5 RPG but pulled down an impressive 15 boards in the last game. I believe Cardoso will clamp down on at least 7 rebounds here.

Main pick: Angel Reese O 15.5 points at BetMGM

Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx Spread Prediction

The Sky has covered the spread twice against the Lynx. They have improved tremendously recently. Meanwhile, the Lynx are going through a rather tough stretch after the hottest start in the league.

The last two battles have been close between these teams. Sky has exposed Lynx’s vulnerabilities and will be confident to overturn the odds. I see the Lynx winning this time, but also believe that Chicago will do a trifecta in covering the spread.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
