Shubham Singh

On Tuesday, 03/04, the Chicago Bulls (24-37) will host the Cleveland Cavaliers (50-10) in an Eastern Conference Regular-Season match-up. The Bulls have clung to the tenth spot in the East, whereas the Cavaliers sit at the top with the best record in the league. Will the Cavs present another example of their meteoric rise here? Read about the preview, total predictions, and player props here.

Where to Watch Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Time: 8:00 PM (ET)
  • Venue: United Center (Chicago, Illinois)
  • Where to watch: This game can be viewed on the NBA League Pass.

Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers Match Preview

Bulls: In tatters after the Zach LaVine trade

The Chicago Bulls will come into this game after a 15-point loss against the Indiana Pacers as Coby White sizzled with 26 points. They have now lost eight out of their last ten games and are 4-10 since Zach LaVine was sent to the Sacramento Kings. However, they still have a chance to seize a Play-in berth considering the Philadelphia 76ers’ struggles, who are 2 games back currently. At any rate, their offense has continued to be effective even after LaVine’s departure, but their defense has been below par throughout the season.

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Josh Giddey | PG/SG: Coby White | PG/SG: Lonzo Ball | PF: Matas Buzelis | C: Nikola Vucevic

Injuries: To be updated later.

Cavaliers: Ruthless

The Cavaliers enter the game after an exciting 4-point win against the Portland Trail Blazers in Overtime as De’Andre Hunter nailed 32 points. It was their tenth straight win, and the Cavaliers juggernaut keep touching loftier heights. They have won ten or more games this season and are almost a lock to finish at the top of the East. Their long-range shooting is brilliant as they have knocked down 16.2 triples per game(2nd) on an unbelievable 39%(1st) clip. Their defense locks in when needed, and overall, they are becoming the biggest threat to the defending champs, the Boston Celtics.

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Darius Garland | SG: Donovan Mitchell | SF: Max Strus | PF: Evan Mobley | C: Jarrett Allen

Injuries: No injuries to report thus far.

Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers Total Over/Under Prediction

The Bulls have scored 117 or more points in four of the last five games. However, they have also given up 124+ points regularly this season, even against average offensive teams. Meanwhile, the Cavs often flirt with the 130-point mark and never spare poor defensive squads. Meanwhile, they can give up 110s and 120s regularly, but sometimes they can lock in to contain teams under 105 too. At any rate, this has the makings of a high-scoring affair, going as much as 260 points. The bookmakers have placed the equal odds at around 242.5, believing that the Cavs defense will shut down Bulls to around 110, but even then I am comfortable in going over even 250 here. But a safe pick can be around 245ish here.

Projected Predictions:

  • Total Over 245.5 for +115 at BetMGM
  • Cavaliers: Points Over 129.5 for +110 at BetMGM

Chicago Bulls Player Props Predictions- Projected Top Bets & Odds

Josh Giddey to dish over 8.5 assists: The Bulls guard has delivered 9.4 assists per game in the last five games and 6.6 APG for the season. I believe he will be in the 9-11 assists range here.

Coby White to score over 21.5 points: The Bulls guard has tallied 20.4 PPG over the last five games. I believe he will be in the 22-27 points range here.

Cleveland Cavaliers Player Props Predictions – Projected Top Bets & Odds

Donovan Mitchell to score over 29.5 points: The Cavaliers SG has scored 26 or more in four of the last five games. If he plays, I believe he will go past the 30-point mark here.

Evan Mobley to grab over 9.5 rebounds: The Cavaliers’ big forward has tallied 9.3 rebounds per game this season. I believe he will be in the 11-13 rebounds range here.

Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers Match Prediction

The Cavaliers will enter as the overwhelming favorites here and why not! They are the most red-hot squad this season(apart from the OKC Thunder) and show no mercy to struggling squads like the Bulls. I expect the hosts to keep it close for some segments of the game but I’m getting eviscerated in the end. The Cavs can win by a 15+ points margin here.

Safe Spread Pick: Cavaliers -14.5 for +115 at BetMGM
