Carlos Alcaraz vs. Taylor Fritz Head-to-Head Record, Prediction and Betting Odds for Wimbledon 2025 Semifinals

Gulshan Sharma

Alcaraz is on a 19-match winning streak in the Wimbledon.

Defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz will be in action for the ultimate semifinal clash against the 5th-seed Taylor Fritz in the 2025 Wimbledon championship. The Spaniard got better of Cameron Norrie in the quarterfinals with a straight-set victory, while Fritz took four sets to defeat Khachanov to reach his first Wimbledon semifinals. The American ace will arrive at Centre Court to surprise the five-time major champion, who has won 19 consecutive matches in the Wimbledon.

After a five-set thriller against Fognini, Alcaraz secured victories in dominant fashion en route to the Wimbledon semifinals. The 22-year-old required three sets to knock out the local boy, Norrie and stepped ahead in pursuit of the third consecutive Wimbledon glory. He also became the first player to reach the ATP Finals this year. Carlos is on a 23-match winning streak and the streak has been extended to 17 on grass court.

The Spaniard will play his 8th career Grand Slam semifinals and with a 34-3 career grass-court record gives him a tag of favorites.

Taylor Fritz came through a dominant campaign, similar to his runner-up journey in the 2024 US Open. The American ace outclassed Khachanov in the quarterfinals. The way he won the first two sets shows his class and improvement on the grass. He became the only active American man to reach the semifinals or better at a non-hardcourt major.

The US No. 1 joined Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton as the only active American men to make multiple major semifinal appearances. However, the task of the semifinal won’t be easy but Fritz brings clarity in his game which makes him a true underdog player.
