The 22-year-old world No. 1 rolled his left ankle while stretching to return a ball, collapsing to the ground in visible agony. Medical staff quickly attended, and Alcaraz required sturdy tape and physio checks before continuing.

“I was scared too, I’m not going to lie. When I planted the ankle, I was worried because it didn’t feel good at the beginning,” he admitted. “I’m just happy that I was able to play good tennis after that and finish the match quite good.
