Carabao Cup Fourth Round Draw: Holders Newcastle Face Spurs, Liverpool To Host Crystal Palace

The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw has thrown up some heavyweight clashes with four all-Premier League ties. Carabao Cup holders Newcastle United are set to host Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur. Both sides lifted silverware last season after a long trophy drought. Elsewhere, Arsenal will welcome Brighton to the Emirates.

Premier League champions Liverpool will host FA Cup winners Crystal Palace. FIFA Club World Cup winners Chelsea will travel to Molineux to face Wolves. There is also history in the making, as for the first time three Welsh clubs have reached the fourth round of EFL Cup. Wrexham and Cardiff will go head-to-head in a much-anticipated derby. Meanwhile Swansea City, winners of EFL Cup in 2013, have the daunting task of hosting reigning champions Manchester City.

League Two side Grimsby Town, who stunned Manchester United in the second round and Sheffield Wednesday in the third, have been rewarded with a home tie against Brentford. Meanwhile, League One side Wycombe Wanderers will aim to spring a surprise when they take on Fulham.
