The Buffalo Bills franchise has been around the NFL since 1960 and is one of the most iconic franchises in football. It has had various star players, throughout, and are continuing to produce many more. We’re talking about Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Steve Christie ,and now Josh Allen. They have no shortage of some unique talents.

The Bills have won a lot in their 65 years but they have not won the most prestigious award in football, the Superbowl. This does not mean that the team has not appeared in the Super Bowl but they just have never won.

It must be to tough to be a Bills’ fan as they have won multiple playoff rounds and matchups but just have not gotten over the hump. The Bills are 21-21 in terms of their playoff record. They have appeared in the playoffs, 24 times, and have played in 42 playoff games so far. They have played in 13 wildcard round games, and have won 8 but have lost 5.

The Bills have also played in the divisional game 16 times and have a losing record of 7 wins and 9 losses. Finally, the Bills have played in 7 conference championship games and are 4-3. Throughout history, the Bills have struggled in particularly, the divisional round of the plays. Which explains why the franchise may not have have a super bowl yet.

The Bills acquired Josh Allen in the 2018 NFL draft. Ever since Allen was drafted, the Bills have started winning again. He has helped the Bills make the playoffs, every season since 2019, and make it all the way into the conference finals twice. The only problem for the Bills? Defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, in the playoffs. They are currently, 0-3 against the Chiefs, in the postseason and this will be the fourth time the Bills play against the Chiefs.

Josh Allen is at the top of his game and is also a serious candidate for the MVP honors. He is looking forward to beating the Chiefs and to finally get past them to earn his first Super Bowl appearance.

The Buffalo Bills have not won a Super Bowl yet. They have played in the Super Bowl four times and have lost every single one of them. If the Bills win the AFC Conference championship tonight, it will only be the Bills’ 5th appearance in the Super Bowl.

Have the Bills lost 4 straight Super Bowls?

The Buffalo Bills have lost 4 straight Super Bowls from 1990-1993. Their first super bowl appearance came against the New York Giants and they lost the game. The Bills went back to the Super Bowl the next season but lost, again, at the hands of the Washington Redskins this time. Their third Super Bowl matchup was against the Dallas Cowboys in the 1992 season, but the Cowboys made sure the winning streak continued.

After being defeated three times in the Super Bowl, the Bills had one more in them and they faced the Cowboys for the second time. However, nothing had changed as they lost their fourth straight title in the Super Bowl.

Call it the Super Bowl curse as the Bills did not even win one, after appearing in four straight Super Bowls. Despite the curse, the Bills are back again, to contend, and a Super Bowl title will finally end their 65 years of championship drought!
