The Brit’s year also includes a finals appearance in Munich, semifinal runs in Melbourne, Stuttgart, and Washington, and quarterfinal finishes at both Wimbledon and Indian Wells. After a slow start to the year, the No. 1 Peruvian found rhythm with a title in Heilbronn, a quarterfinal in Vicenza, and semifinal runs in Santiago, Menorca, Aix-en-Provence, and Cancun. He carried that momentum into the main tour, reaching the Gstaad semifinals before falling to Juan Cerundolo in straight sets. Over the season, Buse has struck 20 aces, won 72% of first-serve points, 28% on first-serve returns, and converted 28% of break-point chances.
