The 2025 ATP-500 in Vienna, or the Erste Bank Open, will be played between 20 October and 26 October in the Austrian capital. The qualifying competition will take place over two days prior to the main draw, on 18 October and 19 October. This year marks the 51st edition of the tournament – with American Brian Gottfried being the most successful player over the years.

The Vienna Open is a men’s professional tennis tournament which is staged annually at the Wiener Stadthalle. It is played on indoor hard courts and originally used to be an event on the Grand Prix tennis circuit. There are 32 main draw entrants in the singles competition, whereas 16 pairs compete for the title in the doubles category.

British southpaw Jack Draper is the defending champion at the 2025 Erste Bank Open in Vienna. He beat Karen Khachanov of Russia 6-4 7-5 to win the men’s singles title. Coming to the men’s doubles winners, home favorites Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler beat Neal Skupski and Michael Venus 4-6 6-3 10-1 to lift their second crown in Vienna.

ATP Vienna Open 2025 Draw

World No. 2 Jannik Sinner is the top seed at this year’s Vienna Open. The 2023 champion will begin his campaign against Daniel Altmaier, before having to potentially face Flavio Cobolli, Alexander Bublik and Alex de Minaur/Andrey Rublev en route to the final. Here, it could be Alexander Zverev, Lorenzo Musetti or Daniil Medvedev who await him from the bottom half.

Alexander Zverev’s first real challenge could only come in the quarterfinals, where he is likely to face Karen Khachanov. His semifinal opponent is a possible roll of the dice – with Daniil Medvedev, Lorenzo Musetti and Stefanos Tsitsipas contending for the spot. If he overcomes these obstacles, a potential rematch of the Australian Open 2025 final against Jannik Sinner is on the cards.
