WNBA Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineups Atlanta Dream vs Los Angeles Sparks-Dream and Sparks Lock Horns in Critical Playoff-Defining Showdown!

Garima Ranawat

Atlanta hosts LA for a two-game mini series starting on September 3!

The Atlanta Dream is set to welcome the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, September 3, in the first of its three-game stretch at home. The Dream is currently tied with the Las Vegas Aces and the Phoenix Mercury for the second spot in the standings with a 26-14 win-loss record. Coming off two back-to-back victories, Dream aims to win all four of its remaining 2025 WNBA regular season games. And honestly, it doesn’t look like a tough nut to crack.

The Sparks, on the flip side, have managed to keep themselves alive in the playoffs contention by securing back-to-back wins over the Storm and Mystics. In order to continue their streak and boost chances to grab a postseason berth, they would be required to add more impressive runs to their tally.

They have currently occupied the ninth seed in the standings, and are trailing the Indiana Fever with just one game. Winning maximum of their remaining games along with defeat of the Fever could ensure them a postseason berth. However, considering that the season is approaching a crucial stage, the Sparks cannot underestimate any team or the Fever for that matter.

Coming back to the upcoming game, both teams are in winning momentum, but considering that the Dream has home-court advantage and 1-0 dominance over the Sparks, the hosts hold the upper hand.

Here are the injury updates for both the teams along with their expected starting lineups.

Los Angeles Sparks’ Injuries

The Sparks have listed Rickea Jackson as questionable due to a right lower leg injury. She was listed as questionable for the clash against the Storm on Monday, but ended up taking on the court for her side.
