The Atlanta Dream are set to welcome the Connecticut Sun in the first of their back-to-back clashes starting on Monday, September 8. The Sun, seeded 11th in the standings will most likely finish the 2025 WNBA season with the third worst record. They will head into the game on the back of a thrilling win over the Phoenix Mercury, a victory which ended their three-game losing skid and pushed their seasonal tally to 11-31.

The hosts, on the other hand, have booked themselves a playoff berth. However, they are yet to confirm their seeding. Currently, they have occupied the third spot with a 28-14 tally, and are most likely to finish there. Atlanta is on a four-game winning streak, and in its most recent fixture, the Rhyne Howard-led team handed a blowout defeat to the Los Angeles Sparks.

Connecticut and Atlanta have met thrice in the season, with the latter maintaining a 2-1 dominance over its counterparts. In the upcoming fixture, the visitors would aim to level the tally and enter the final game of the season riding high on confidence.

Taylor Thierry is out for her third straight game due to a left ankle injury.
