Les Rouge et Blanc are unbeaten in their last six games and come into this one off a 2-2 draw with Ajax, their fourth straight game with over 2.5 goals. They have scored in six of their seven summer friendlies and in nine of their last 11 matches overall. Inter Milan, meanwhile, made an explosive start to their pre-season with a 7-2 win over their U23 side and have scored in 10 of their last 12 matches, showcasing the attacking power that made them Serie A champions last season.
The two clubs last met in a friendly in 2022, drawing 2-2, while Inter also won a Champions League clash 3-0 in their other recent meeting. With both managers likely to field strong attacking lineups, goals are expected at both ends.
No injury concerns for the squad at the moment, full squad available. Mika Biereth will be one to watch after scoring in the last friendly.
AS Monaco Predicted XI (4-4-2): Majecki; Teze, Dier, Mawissa, Henrique; Minamino, Zakaria, Camara, Golovin; Biereth, Balogun
Benjamin Pavard, Piotr Zielinski, and Yann Aurel Bisseck are sidelined due to injuries. Lautaro Martínez will spearhead the attack.
Inter Milan Predicted XI (3-5-2): Sommer; Darmian, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Asllani, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martínez
This may be a pre-season fixture, but both sides will want to keep momentum high heading into their respective domestic campaigns. Monaco’s recent scoring run and Inter’s proven attacking depth should make for an entertaining contest. Expect goals at both ends, but Simone Inzaghi’s side should have the extra quality to edge the win.
