Aryna Sabalenka has taken off from where she left the 2025 season. Despite playing 75 matches last year, the top seed has returned to full fitness and form. Looking even more aggressive this week, she has defeated Cristina Bucsa, Sorana Cirstea, Madison Keys and Karolina Muchova en route to the final. Set to contend with her wrath, is World No. 26 Marta Kostyuk. The 23-year-old has a record of 245-148 throughout her career, winning a solitary singles trophy during this time. Kostyuk overcame Yulia Putintseva, Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva and Jessica Pegula to enter this clash.

Our Pick: Marta Kostyuk +3.5 Games @ +125
Sabalenka has not dropped a single set across four encounters against Kostyuk so far. However, the Ukrainian No. 2 has looked in fine form this week. She is striking the ball more fearlessly than ever before, beating three Top-10 players in the process. Moreover, the youngster has a score to settle with the tigress after years of being unable to defeat her. While we still predict a Sabalenka victory on the night, Kostyuk +3.5 games at a price of +125 seems to be an appropriate bet.
This is set to be Sabalenka’s third straight appearance in the Brisbane International final. The 27-year-old finished as the runner-up at the WTA Finals in Riyadh, and returned to Australian soil where she will compete for a third crown at Melbourne Park in four years. While she converted only 25% break point opportunities generated against Muchova, the Belarusian didn’t allow her opponent to break her serve even once.
Kostyuk likes to take the attack to baseline dominators, and spreads the play to open up the court. Against Pegula, the 16th seed picked up yet another victory over a higher ranked player. Needing under an hour to dismantle the American 6-0 6-3, Kostyuk is set to enter the final with a lot of energy left in the tank.
Aryna Sabalenka leads the head-to-head against Marta Kostyuk by 4-0. This includes two meetings in the 2025 campaign, and three encounters on clay. The World No. 1 has not dropped a set against her counterpart, and is set to face her in a summit clash for the very first time.
