After A'ja Wilson injury, Las Vegas Aces’ offensive line looked fragile.

Las Vegas Aces are bracing for some serious hours ahead that will determine how their next couple of games go. A’ja Wilson, who has been a leader for the roster both on and off the court, suffered a major injury that forced her to leave the Wednesday night game against the Sparks.

The 28-year-old with just minutes left in the third quarter got a head/nose injury. The incident took place when Dearica Hamby was attempting a layup. The arm of the LA forward splashed on the head of Wilson and then her region around the nose.

This instantly caused bleeding on A’ja Wilson’s nose. Her teammates rushed to check on her as she walked towards the sidelines for treatment. Cotton wool wraps were placed inside the nose to stop the bleeding and Wilson quickly returned to continue the game.

However, just two minutes later, the Las Vegas Aces star went off the court with the bleeding not stopping. The medical staff evaluated her and decided to take her to the locker room for further treatment. A’ja Wilson didn’t return for the fourth quarter.

Eventually, the Sparks won the WNBA game by 97-87. A’ja Wilson went on to score 13 points and registered 8 rebounds. In absence of her, Jackie Young led the Aces’ offense and scored a magnificent 34 points maintaining her side’s chances in the game.

When Will A’ja Wilson Return to Action?

Adding more woes for the Las Vegas Aces, A’ja Wilson may have been seriously injured. After the game head coach Becky Hammon told the media that Wilson will be seeing a doctor tomorrow. This will further give a complete picture of the extent of the injury suffered.
