He was one of the most closely watched names in the 2025 NFL free agency!
Aaron Rodgers has made his decision about his next destination. Because no, the 41-year-old Rodgers is not hanging up his cleats before the 2025 season. On the contrary, according to multiple sources, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback is set to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers this Friday on a 1-year deal worth $20 million.
The veteran quarterback is expected to attend the minicamp with his new team starting next Tuesday.

As a reminder, Aaron Rodgers enjoyed tremendous success during his career with the Green Bay Packers. He was named NFL MVP four times and won one Super Bowl. Two seasons ago, Rodgers decided to move on from Green Bay and signed with the New York Jets.
However, his first season in New York was cut short by an Achilles tendon rupture in the opening game. He returned in 2024 but failed to find success. This difficult stretch led the Jets to end the experiment and choose Justin Fields as their starter for the 2025 season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were in need of a quarterback this offseason. Following the 2024 season, they had been in negotiations with both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson, who were part of the team’s roster last year. However, both players opted to go in different directions. The Steelers then decided to bet on Rodgers’ experience.
Time will tell if that gamble pays off.
