Fan Arrested After Throwing Dildo At WNBA Game In Vulgar Stunt, League Reinforces Zero-Tolerance Arena Conduct Rules

The WNBA confirmed one fan’s arrest after a sex toy was thrown on the court mid-game

A disturbing trend has emerged at WNBA games, where some fans have thrown sex-related objects, raising serious concerns about stadium safety and player comfort. A female sex object has been thrown not once but twice across different games.

The first incident happened during the Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries game. A green dildo was suddenly hurled onto the court mid-play. This is being seen as a sexist stunt by some fans who are trying to make games uncomfortable.

During the second instance in Chicago, a fan threw a similar sex object and the game had to be temporarily halted. League officials believed that it could have been a one off incident. However, this appears to be sparking a dangerous pattern of repeat incidents.

League officials released a statement saying, “The safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans.”

The statement further added, “In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.”

WNBA Fan Detained for Sex Stunt

The fan who threw the dildo object during the Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State Valkyries game have been arrested by local authorities. The police have taken the fan into custody and further proceedings according to the law are being initiated.

However, there is no word regarding the second incident in Chicago. Given that the fan was arrested, it’s likely the Chicago Police Department will take similar action if a suspect is identified in the second incident.
