Madison Keys vs. Caty McNally Prediction, and Betting Odds for WTA National Bank Open 2025 Round of 32

Gulshan Sharma

Madison Keys and Caty McNally will play for the first time on the WTA tour.

The sixth-seed Madison Keys will take on her country rival, Caty McNally in the round of 32 clash of the 2025 National Bank Open. The 2025 Australian Open champion outclassed Wimbledon quarterfinalist, Laura Siegemund in straight sets to kick off the hard-court swing in the style. Caty McNally, on the other hand, countered the 31st-seed Rebecca Sramkova to set an All-American clash on Friday.

Madison Keys completed her revenge against Siegemund, who knocked her out in the Wimbledon third round. The 30-year-old was extremely aggressive to blast 25 winners in the match. The American ace reached the quarterfinals in the Roland Garros and had a semifinal run at the Queen’s Club. Keys is having the best season of her career with a dominating 33-10 record, including 20-3 on hard. Her both titles this season came on the hard court as she beat Pegula in Adelaide and Sabalenka in Melbourne.

Caty McNally got a chance to appear in the main draw after Sabalenka and Badosa’s withdrawal from the event. The American ace has dropped one set in two matches to win 53% of the points she played. She had a mixed year so year with only two titles. She conquered Tatjana Maria in the final of the Newport and later, won the W100 Evansville where she overcame Darja Vidmanova in the final. McNally has an aggregate 38-13 win-loss record in 2025, 13-4 on hard. This match would be more challenging for her considering Madison Key’s hard-court run.

Madison Keys vs. Caty McNally 2025 National Bank Open Prediction

Madison Keys has been a consistent performer on hard court with two titles in Adelaide and Melbourne. With a 20-3 record on this surface, she is going to be a tough opponent for Caty McNally, who had a roller-coaster ride this season. The 6th-seeded player will counter McNally through big serve and flat ball-striking. Her heavy forehand would trouble McNally and ideally, Keys should wrap up this match in two sets.

Prediction: Keys to win in straight sets.
