Varandas Dismisses Drama: Closing the Market Solution

Varandas in his latest interview has affirmed Sporting’s composed approach to Viktor Gyökeres’ potential exit. Respecting the player’s ambitions while insisting on fair market value he compared the deals like Zubimendi (€65M) and Matheus Cunha (€75M) to Gyokeres.

The Sporting chairperson firmly rules out a €60M + €10M transfer, presenting two outcomes: a sale with a replacement or retention if no suitable offer arrives, dismissing drama with the phrase “closing the market cures all ills.”
