Fulham will be hosting Manchester City on Tuesday night at Craven Cottage in a Premier League showdown. Fulham, under Marco Silva, have shown glimpses of attacking intent this season. But inconsistency has plagued their campaign.
Manchester City are arriving in London sitting second in the table. But they’re boasting a mix of impressive offensive displays and concerning defensive lapses under Pep Guardiola. Their individual quality still gives them a clear edge going into the match.

Fulham are still without left-back Antonee Robinson and striker Rodrigo Muniz. Samuel Chukwueze, who is coming fresh from an assist against Tottenham, should keep his spot on the wing, with Alex Iwobi in midfield. At the back, Calvin Bassey and Joachim Andersen are likely to pair centrally. They should be backed by Bernd Leno in goal, and Raul Jimenez should be leading the attack.

Man City are still missing Mateo Kovacic and Rodri, who remains unfit. It has been a notable blow given his importance in midfield. In defence, Man City may rely on Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol at centre-back. Academy players such as Nico O’Reilly will possibly be filling wing-back or full-back roles. Up front, Erling Haaland is leading the line. He should be supported by Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku on the flanks.
The head-to-head history between these sides often delivers open, high-scoring matches. Between their last 28 meetings, 75% have produced over 1.5 goals. 75% of them also saw Man City win, and almost half ended with more than 2.5 goals. Man City themselves bring 27 goals scored and 12 conceded so far this season.
This shows both their attacking firepower and defensive vulnerability. Meanwhile, Fulham’s home record remains fairly solid. They’ve scored at home and conceded enough. Thus, reflecting their go-forward style under Silva. The mix of Fulham’s attacking bursts and Manchester City’s attacking quality makes over 3.5 goals at +155 a reasonable proposition.
Man City boast a historic dominance over Fulham and Haaland also has a strong scoring history against them. Hence, backing him to score anytime feels justified. Indeed, in recent seasons he’s averaged close to a goal per game vs Fulham. Even though Fulham have shown improved defensive organisation under Silva, their back-line remains leakier than elite defences this season. Thus, presenting opportunities for a clinical finisher like Haaland to make an impact.
The inclusion of Foden in this bet is backed by his recent form. In City’s 3-2 win against Leeds United, he opened the scoring inside the first minute. He also delivered the stoppage-time winner. With Kovacic and Rodri absent, City might lean on Foden’s creativity and attacking instincts. Thus, increasing his influence in the final third. His chance involvement, either as a scorer or provider, makes the -105 odds seem a fair bet.

| Phil Foden to score anytime | +220 |

Man City’s offensive trio – Haaland, Foden and Doku, should break through Fulham’s shaky defence. Meanwhile, Fulham may manage a consolation through their improving attack. Perhaps via Chukwueze or Jimenez.
Based on momentum, recent form and history, a 3-1 win for Man City appears likely. Given City’s occasional defensive lapses, conceding once is plausible, but their overall quality should see them comfortably through.
The Fulham vs Manchester City Premier League clash is on December 2, 2025, at the Craven Cottage Stadium, London, England.
