| Devin Booker O 28.5 points | -106 |
Devin Booker has been leading the offensive engine for the Phoenix Suns this season with an average of 28.2 points per game, 4.2 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game. He has been shooting 49.6% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range. In the previous game against the Mavericks, he dropped 26 points, on 36.8% shooting from the field. In fact, in the last five games, Booker has recorded three games with around 25 points, including a 38-point performance as well. Considering that the Pacers are going through a slump with evident on-court struggles, and the fact that the Suns have home court advantage, we can expect Booker to finish over 29 points.
The Phoenix Suns have had a terrible campaign in the 2024-25 season despite key contributions from Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. In the offseason, they let go of their stalwart Durant in a historic seven-team trade and acquired Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and more. They had high hopes from the current season, and while their few initial games gave deja vu to fans and pundits, the Suns are currently doing well.
Though, they have always struggled with consistency. But, now that they are on a four-game winning streak, the Suns wouldn’t want to let go of this opportunity to move up in the standings. Statistically speaking, Phoenix is in the 18th spot with an offensive rating of 114.9, while their defensive rating of 115.4 places them in the 19th spot.
The Indiana Pacers, on the other hand, have had a remarkable campaign in the previous season, where they finished off as finalists. They gave a tough fight to the ultimate champions, Oklahoma City Thunder, but an unfortunate Achilles injury of their rising superstar Tyrese Haliburton in Game 7 crushed their hopes. The injury also ended up sidelinging Haliburton for the entire current season. Moreover, they have had injuries to other players as well which ended up affecting their 2025-26 run.
Though they are slowly getting healthier and players such as Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell have made effective returns to court. They are eyeing to get back on track and add more victories to their overall tally. As of now, the Pacers are the worst performing team in the league in terms of offensive rating of 102.8. In terms of defensive rating, they are placed at the 16th spot with 114.2, which could come off as a threat for the 19th-seeded Suns.
However, considering the injury threats to the Pacers, along with Suns’ ongoing momentum and home-court advantage, it can be said that the Suns are likely to win on Thursday.
