Matthew Stafford, 37, is Putting Up Insane Numbers – Can Stafford Lead the L.A. Rams to Another Super Bowl?

Matthew Stafford is having arguably his best season ever at age 37, aging like fine wine as they say. The Rams quarterback has led Los Angeles to a 7-2 record, including a 42-26 blowout of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns with no picks. After a tough few years with injuries and lower numbers, Stafford has 25 touchdowns on just two interceptions this season. His passer rating sits at a career-high 114.8, and he’s on pace for 47 touchdown passes.

As a result, the Rams have won four games in a row by a total of 82 points, dominating their competition while sending a message to the rest of the league.

Matthew Stafford Hits Rare Milestone with 49ers Win

Stafford made NFL history against the 49ers. He became the first player ever to throw four touchdowns and zero interceptions in three straight games. This streak started after the Rams’ bye and includes wins over strong teams. His accuracy and decision-making have been perfect in these games, giving the offense total control. The 49ers, on the other hand, had no answer for his quick reads and deep throws.

Can Stafford Lead Rams to Another Super Bowl?

To put it simply, yes, the Rams have what it takes to win it all again. They have a strong roster on both sides of the ball. The defense creates turnovers, and the offensive line protects Stafford well. With wide receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, Stafford has elite targets who win one-on-one matchups.

Last year, the Eagles beat them in the divisional round, but this team looks different this season. The Rams already have only lost against the Eagles and to the 49ers this season, with both games being nail bitters. If Stafford keeps playing clean football and the team stays healthy, they can certainly beat anyone. Consistency will be key, but right now, Los Angeles looks like a real Super Bowl threat.
