First meeting outside of a final between the two superstar duos.
No. 2 seeds Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend will battle familiar foes in the form of Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the 2025 WTA Finals Group Stage on Tuesday. It will be a repeat of this year’s US Open final as well as the summit clash of the 2024 WTA Finals. Today, we will take you through the history of this rivalry, as well as the recent form of both pairs. Finally, we will use BetMGM to give you the betting odds.
Katerina Siniakova is undoubtedly one of the best doubles superstars of this generation, and has an unbelievably potent partner in Taylor Townsend. Meanwhile, Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe have slowly but surely cemented their spot among the women’s doubles mainstays. The rivalry began in 2024, when the Czech-American combination downed their counterparts at Wimbledon. Since then however, Dabrowski and Routliffe have cooked up the perfect recipe to trouble Siniakova and Townsend.
Mission accomplished! 💪

Siniakova/Townsend have won four titles each this year. Their biggest titles came at the Australian Open and Dubai Duty Free Championships at the start of the year. While the left-right combination makes them extremely tricky to deal with, Dabrowski/Routliffe seem to have cracked the code. The Canadian-Kiwi duo won the US Open in 2023 and 2025, and also captured the WTA Finals championship in 2024.

Dabrowski/Routliffe lead the head-to-head against Siniakova/Townsend by 2-1. They have faced each other twice in 2024 and once in 2025.
| Event | Round | Winner | Score |
| 2025 US Open | Final | Dabrowski/Routliffe | 6-4 6-4 |
| 2024 WTA Finals | Final | Dabrowski/Routliffe | 7-5 6-3 |
| 2024 Wimbledon | Final | Siniakova/Townsend | 7-6(5) 7-6(1) |
| Siniakova / Townsend | Category | Dabrowski / Routliffe |
| 1 / 2 | Current Ranking | 9 / 5 |
| 403-160 / 277-101 | Career W-L Record | 488-322 / 314-191 |
| 41-10 / 41-9 | YTD W-L Record | 28-13 / 37-17 |
| 32 / 11 | Career Doubles Titles | 20 / 12 |
| 4 / 4 | YTD Doubles Titles | 3 / 4 |
| 10 / 2 | Doubles Grand Slams | 2 / 2 |
Dabrowski and Routliffe tend to shift gears towards the end of the season, particularly on the hard courts with trustworthy pace and bounce. They will enjoy the match-up against Siniakova and Townsend due to the past results. However, the No. 2 seeds looked in fine touch during their opener, and we believe they will hold their nerve to level the head-to-head on Tuesday.
Prediction: Siniakova/Townsend in three sets.
Continuing where they left off 😤
