Cleveland Cavaliers vs Atlanta Hawks Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineups- Latest Update on Donovan Mitchell’s Injury and Availability Status

Garima Ranawat

Both Cavs and Hawks are currently tied 3-3 in the ongoing season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to welcome the Atlanta Hawks for an anticipated game at Rocket Arena on Sunday, November 2. Both Cavaliers and the Hawks currently tie 3-3, occupying the sixth and seventh spot in the NBA 2025-26 season standings. In the upcoming game, they will aim to extend their winning record, and dominate their counterparts to grab a top seed.

The Cavaliers will enter Sunday’s game on the back of a 112-101 defeat to the Toronto Raptors. They seemingly missed Donovan Mitchell’s presence and fell to the lower-seeded Raptors despite Evan Mobley’s 29 points, and De’Andre Hunter’s 26 points. This loss marked their second consecutive defeat, and they are eyeing to avoid a 3-0 hole.

The Hawks, on the other hand, are on a two game winning streak. In their most-recent game, they handed a 128-108 defeat to the Indiana Pacers, owing to Jalen Johnson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker’s combined 43-point effort. The game saw Dyson Daniels dropping 18 points while Kristaps Porzingis came up with 15 points for the Hawks.

Now that the Hawks have finally gotten into the momentum, they would want to continue it. On the flip side, their rivals wish to get out of the slump and turn around the results of their past two defeats. Irrespective of the results, fans are in for a treat with an action-filled game on Sunday, at Rocket Arena. Here, we will go through the injury reports and expected starting lineups for both teams; let’s get started.
