The Thunder are 6-0 in the season, while the Pelicans are 0-5.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will welcome the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, November 2, at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The hosts, who entered the NBA 2025-26 season on the back of a historic campaign, are currently undefeated with a 6-0 winning streak. In their previous game, they handed a blowout loss to the Washington Wizards. Led by reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder will aim to continue their dominance in the upcoming game.
Facing them will be the New Orleans Pelicans, who are the only team alongside the Brooklyn Nets which haven’t won any game so far. Having finished the previous season in the bottom-second spot with a 21-61 record, the Pelicans were hoping for a better campaign this year. However, it seems that things aren’t really going their way. In their last game, the Pelicans slumped to the Los Angeles Clippers, 126-124.
While one team is undefeated, the other is desperately seeking its first victory of the season. Considering the form and stats, one can expect a lopsided game in the favor of the defending champions. However, irrespective of the results, fans are in for a treat. That said, let’s get into the injury reports and expected starting lineups for both teams.
Here is a breakdown of the injury reports and expected starting lineups for the Oklahoma City Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans.
