NBA New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics Injury Report – Josh Hart Questionable, Luke Garza Out, and OG Anunoby Probable

The New York Knicks will host the Boston Celtics for their second game of the 2025-26 regular season, live from Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have started the season 1-0 this season, beating Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland Cavaliers 119 – 111. OG Anunoby and Karl Anthony Towns had double-doubles in this game, to go along with Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges’ 23 and 16 points. With Josh Hart out of the lineup, Miles McBride dropped 15 points from the bench, to help the Knicks beat the Cavs.

Meanwhile, for the Boston Celtics, they are 0-1 for the season and are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. They lost Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luke Kornet in the offseason, with the new management in place, and the loss has been clear to see. The Celtics are also playing without their superstar Jayson Tatum, who’s dealing with an Achilles injury, and even though they’ve added some pieces like Anfernee Simons, the Celtics are more vulnerable than ever before.

Josh Hart is still nursing his back injury that he suffered in the Knicks’ preseason opener on October 2nd and is listed as questionable for the game against the Celtics. However, there is a good chance that he plays on Friday, making his debut for the 2025-26 season.
