The Indiana Fever announced Thursday that forward Chloe Bibby will miss the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season due to a left knee injury, further depleting the team’s roster at a critical stage of the year.

Chloe Bibby joined Indiana on a seven-day contract signed on July 25, and was later retained for the rest of the season. In nine appearances, she averaged 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds across 9.8 minutes per game, while shooting 35.7% from the field and 39.1% from beyond the arc.

Her injury occurred during pregame warm-ups ahead of the team’s 95-90 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on August 22. The setback ended her season before the Indiana Fever’s final push for the WNBA playoff race.

Bibby’s absence adds to a long list of sidelined players for Indiana. The Fever are already without Caitlin Clark (right groin injury), Sydney Colson (left knee injury), Sophie Cunningham (right knee injury), and Aari McDonald (right foot injury).

Chloe Bibby’s Absence Leads to Bree Hall Signing

To address the roster gap, the Indiana Fever signed guard Bree Hall to a Rest-of-Season hardship contract. She will wear No. 3 for the Fever as she steps into the lineup.

The rookie guard was Indiana’s No. 20 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and previously spent preseason with the team. She featured in the exhibition game against the Brazil National Team on May 4, contributing nine points and four rebounds.

Hall brings championship experience to the roster as a two-time NCAA Champion from the University of South Carolina. During the current WNBA season, she had already been signed to multiple hardship contracts with the Golden State Valkyries.

With just three games left for the regular season, the Indiana Fever sits at 21-20, holding the No. 8 seed in the WNBA standings.
