Novak Djokovic Grand Slams Won – How Many Grand Slams Does Novak Djokovic Have?

Rudra Dubey

Breaking down Djokovic’s Grand Slam titles, surface dominance, and historic milestones.

At 38, Novak Djokovic stands as the last active titan of the Big Three, and by most accounts, the greatest of all time. Since turning pro in 2003 at just 15, the Serbian legend has rewritten tennis history with a staggering 100 ATP singles titles, trailing only Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer.

Djokovic has held the world No. 1 ranking for a record 428 weeks, finishing year-end No. 1 a jaw-dropping eight times, and becoming the first man to win 40 ATP Masters 1000 titles, including a record seven in Paris. With triple Career Grand Slams, a double Career Golden Masters, seven ATP Finals wins, and Olympic medals in 2008 and 2024, his resume is as complete as it gets.

Now ranked No. 6, Djokovic heads into the 2025 French Open semifinal for a crucial encounter with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, a clash of eras. And a meeting of generations that promises not just power and precision but a statement on where the sport stands and where it’s headed, with Djokovic still very much in the conversation.

What is Novak Djokovic’s Record in Grand Slam Finals?

At the majors, Djokovic has an astounding 382-52 win-loss record, meaning that he has won 88% of his matches. His reign at the Australian Open is unmatched, boasting 10 titles and a near-flawless 99-10 record in Melbourne. At Roland Garros, where the clay has often favored Nadal, Djokovic has still managed three titles with a strong 96-16 record.

He’s conquered the grass of Wimbledon seven times (90-14), and in New York, he’s lifted the US Open trophy four times, matching that with a 90-14 record. No matter the surface or the stage, Djokovic has made winning look routine.

Has Novak Djokovic lost in a Grand Slam Final?

Throughout his dominance, Djokovic has faced defeat too, losing 13 Grand Slam finals out of his 37 appearances. Most of these defeats came at the hands of the legendary Big 4 (including Andy Murray), with Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay, responsible for the majority.

Carlos Alcaraz, the young Spanish phenom, knocked Djokovic out in back-to-back finals, a grueling five-set battle in 2023 followed by a commanding straight-sets victory in 2024.

I understood those voices aren’t noise; they’re emotions of true sports fans, and now I am one of them, writing with the same energy I once questioned.
