The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers have been up against each other for a total of eight times in the NBA playoffs so far. Out of those eight appearances, they have locked horns in three Eastern Conference Finals, with a 2-1 record in the favor of the Knicks. The first time both teams locked horns against each other in the conference finals was in 1994, where the Knicks took down the Pacers 4-3.
The next two encounters came in 1999 and 2000. In those years, the Knicks gained a 4-2 win over the Pacers the first time, while the Pacers recorded a 4-2 win later. The forthcoming series, which is set to begin on May 21 would be the fourth Conference Finals series both teams will appear against each other.
